Prayer Meeting – Jan 30, 2010
You are invited to join us for our first official prayer meeting, being held on January 30, 2010 (time and location TBD). “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
I have been thinking about the darkness that surrounds heinous crimes, such as imprisoning women and children in the sex trafficking business. What is life in this world if there is no hope of escaping darkness? The Lord brings light to the darkest of places and hope to the hopeless. May we glorify the Lord and not hide His light from those who need it the most.

Prayer Requests:
- Lord, provide guidance, wisdom, strength, and endurance.
- Lord, show us your ways and help us to glorify you in all we do!
- Lord, prepare the women and girls who will be participants of the program.
- Lord, encourage the leaders and volunteers in everything they do.
- Lord, unite the team, volunteers, and community members.
- Lord, increase love, patience, and endurance for everyone.
- Lord, send someone to fill the open Operational Development Team position.
- Lord, send teachers for the education program.
- Lord, provide fundraising ideas and a gifted leader for that team.
- Lord, provide finances, annual donors, commitments.
- Lord, provide favor with organizations, banks, businesses, donors.
- Lord, set up divine appointments.
- Lord, provide leads for housing, apartments, facilities for the program.
- Lord, provide the rent money for the homes to be rented really soon!
- Lord, help the volunteers who are writing grants be creative and disciplined.
- Lord, prepare the way for grants to be awarded.
