In-Kind Donations
When survivors first arrive at our Recovery home, it is common that they come with only the clothes on their back and perhaps one bag of their belongings. GenerateHope provides all the essentials and more to each new resident as another reminder of their dignity and worth. GenerateHope is grateful to receive your in-kind donation of new or gently used items that fit within our current needs. We also have wish lists set up if you are interested in purchasing new items to support the residents in our programs.
We kindly ask that you do not drop donation items off at our Camino Del Rio or Central San Diego locations without first reaching out to us about your items. We serve a relatively small number of residents at a time, so we carefully filter through donations to ensure they match our current needs. Thank you for understanding.
Please note that we do not accept the following items:
Travel-size, hotel-size, or dollar store toiletry items
Unsealed, used, or expired toiletry items
Used undergarments or swimwear
